    My earliest Doctor Who memory is (I think) Adric staying to save the ship and getting killed in the process. My next memory is the very next story where a ghost image of Adric is shown to the surviving companions. My tiny child brain had a hard time understanding what was going on. It would not be until MANY years later when I would rewatch those stories that I gained any context for those two stand-out memories.
